A light gauge steel joist bears near the top of a non-bearing steel stud shear wall. Three number twelve self-drilling Tek screws connect each stud to the joist framing. Roof sheathing ties into the assembly at the top flange. Shear wall sheathing and exterior finishes are coordinated per architectural drawings.
