A galvanized hollow structural section 4x4 post connects to a wide flange 10 column via a three-quarter by eleven inch transition plate. The post attaches to the top of the plate with a three-sixteenths inch fillet weld. The plate connects to the top of the wide flange column with a five-sixteenths inch fillet weld. An elevation of four hundred sixty-seven feet and eight and three-quarters inches marks the top of the plate.
