Floor framing for openings utilizes a six-by-twelve header supported at each end by a Simpson joist hanger. Multiple joists are provided as required and detailed by the truss joist manufacturer. The assembly bears on a floor beam, steel beam, or wall sized per plan. Maximum opening dimensions are limited to three feet zero inches.
