An insulated concrete sandwich wall detail shows an exterior concrete wythe separated from an interior concrete wythe by a central layer of XPS foam insulation. Reinforcement "a" is placed within the outside concrete layer with a two-inch clearance and four-inch dimensioning, including a designated recess where it occurs. Reinforcement "b" is positioned in the inside concrete layer with a one-and-one-quarter-inch clearance. Dimension lines mark the thickness parameters across the assembly.
