This assembly consists of a one-inch thick steel embed plate featuring a three-by-three grid of nine three-quarter-inch diameter by twenty-four-inch long deformed bar anchors. The anchors are welded to the plate with a seven-sixteenths-inch fillet weld, typical at each connection. For footings that are two feet thick, the design specifies the use of twelve-inch long bars with a standard hook.
