A structural shelf angle spanning across a vertical panel joint connects concrete wall panels using continuous ledgers. The assembly utilizes three-quarter-inch diameter by six-inch embedded anchor bolts placed in thirteen-sixteenths by two-inch horizontal slotted holes with double nuts tightened finger-only. Four anchor bolts are installed on each side of the panel joint, positioned at the center of the slots. A five-by-three-and-a-half-by-three-quarter-inch angle, one foot eight inches long, is centered on the panel joint. A quarter-inch fillet weld secures components where noted, and the joist manufacturer designs the joist seat to transfer axial loads from the wall to the joist.
