A precast concrete panel connects to a continuous concrete footing via a 3/4-inch thick base plate with twelve number six dowels and six 1/2-inch by 3-1/2-inch by H stiffener plates. Two 3-1/2-inch by 1/2-inch thick stiffener plates and eight number 8 by 3'-6" vertical reinforcing bars are embedded within the panel, with four bars at each face. A bent plate measuring 5/8-inch thick by four inches by four inches by 4'-0" long and a 1/2-inch by 4-inch by 3'-6" plate are provided on typical both sides. The connection features a full penetration weld typical and a 3/8-inch fillet weld typical, finished with a 4-inch minimum grout cover all around.
