This moment connection joins two W-beams to a central W-column using connection plates bolted to the beam webs. A 3/8-inch cap plate is welded to the top of the column, and full-depth stiffener plates are provided at the column web to match the beam flanges. The connection plates are secured to the beam webs with bolts as specified in the project schedule. All indicated welds are 1/4-inch fillet welds, and the roof deck is attached per the deck schedule.
