Multiple steel beams frame into a structural steel column flange with web plates and coped beam flanges. The web plate thickness is sized per detail 2 on sheet S802. A typical bent plate thickness equals one half the beam web thickness plus one sixteenth of an inch with a one quarter inch minimum. Beams feature coped flanges and maintain a minimum three and a half inch dimension.
