Metal deck bears on top of a concrete masonry unit wall with a minimum two-inch bearing where decks run perpendicular to the wall. An embed plate measuring 1/2 inch by 5 inches by 1'-8" long is spaced at 2'-0" on center and secured with two 3/4-inch diameter ASTM A307 embedded headed bolts featuring an 8-inch embedment. Non-shrink grout fills the top course voids around the anchors. The wall is reinforced with two continuous number 4 rebars unless noted otherwise on the wall elevation. A plan view details a 5-inch by 20-inch plate spaced at 24 inches on center.
