Type I vertical reinforcement is located at the center line of a concrete masonry unit wall. Horizontal reinforcement is sized per sheet S1.21 and placed within the course. Reinforcement from below laps with the splice while typical reinforcement continues above. A typical reinforcement positioner secures the rebar alignment.
