A post-tensioned concrete slab bears on a concrete wall with two layers of building felt applied over a trowel-smooth and level bearing surface. Top reinforcing bars from the wall dowel into the slab, with a two-and-a-half-inch diameter by six-inch styrofoam sleeve surrounding each slab reinforcing bar. Vertical wall reinforcing bars extend upward through a two-and-a-half-inch diameter by slab-depth styrofoam sleeve. A post-tension end anchorage is installed at the slab edge per structural details.
