Reinforced concrete slab re-entrant corners at temporary pour strips feature localized slab thickening with additional reinforcing bars and development length extensions. Typical slab reinforcement continues per plan across the connection, supplemented by additional bars and bar terminators. The thickened zone extends three feet in the perpendicular direction with a maximum six-inch step as indicated on plan. This typical detail applies similarly at all corners of temporary pour strips.
