The armor joint assembly features continuous L3x3x1/4 steel angles anchored into the edges of the concrete slab-on-grade with one-half-inch diameter by 4-inch heavy-duty sleeve anchors at 12 inches on center. Slab dowels bridge the construction joint between adjacent concrete placements. Subslab insulation and a mud slab run beneath the concrete slab at the insulated apron condition.
