An inclined concrete ramp slab sits atop a layer of foam fill over a thick concrete mat foundation. The ramp slab is reinforced with number four rebar spaced at eighteen inches on center. The underlying mat foundation features top and bottom reinforcing mats with number five rebar spaced at twelve inches each way, along with vertical dowels extending up to anchor the ramp transition. The mat foundation thickness is sized per structural plans.
