A cast-in-place concrete leveler pit integrates with concrete tilt-up or pre-cast wall panels. Steel angles line the interior corners of the pit, featuring a one-quarter-inch gap between angles left unwelded. The side angles stop short of the back angles with paint color to be determined. A leveler is stitch-welded to the rear pit steel angle. A sawn control joint is located at the concrete slab edge near the corner connection.
