A cold-formed steel deflection track at the head of a cold-formed steel wall supports a steel beam. A 5x4x3/16 hollow structural section rests above the steel beam with a 1/2"x4" plate connection beneath the architectural glazing system. The metal deck connects to the steel beam via welds specified on sheet S5.31. An L3x3x3/8 angle connects the structural members with welds detailed on sheet S5.05. A cold-formed steel wall is positioned below with a deflection track, referencing sheet S5.03.
