A concrete tilt-up panel bears on a continuous footing with a one-and-a-half-inch non-shrink grout bed beneath the panel base. The concrete slab-on-grade thickens by two inches at the panel, increasing to four inches at overhead door openings, and slopes away from the building with a maximum one-quarter-inch slope. Number four by eighteen-inch by thirty-six-inch dowels are spaced at eighteen inches on center, with drilling and epoxy permitted at the contractor's option. Horizontal number four reinforcing bars extend across the opening width. Foundation insulation is installed where indicated by architectural drawings, and the footing extends to the required frost depth per structural notes.
