The stair stringer bears onto a thickened slab on grade with an L3x3x3/8 by 1'-0" angle secured by two 3/8-inch diameter by 4-inch embedment expansion anchors at a 5-inch gauge. The stringer connects to the angle using a 3/4-inch diameter ASTM A325 bolt operating within an 8-inch horizontal slot. At the upper slab connection, a continuous L6x4x3/8 angle long legs vertical is anchored with galvanized #5 reinforcing bars at 12 inches on center sized per plan.
