A Nascom N205XG wide gap gate contact is mounted to the gate bracket with the magnet aligned for closure detection. Weatherproof NEMA 3R electrical boxes measuring six inches wide by six inches high by four inches deep with hinge covers are installed with four-and-a-quarter by four-and-a-quarter-inch panels. One-half-inch rigid conduit routes between the electrical boxes to protect the armored cable connections. An armored cable extends from the gate contact to the enclosure, while a one-inch conduit routes downward to the ground or finished grade toward the Perun enclosure and internal universal door controllers.
