An HSS 10x column supports a 3/8-inch thick cap plate attached via full penetration welds. A W12 channel per plan connects to the column assembly with a 1/4-inch fillet weld. An additional C8x channel per plan occurs at the roof level, positioned eight inches above the cap plate. Tube-to-channel dimensions and member sizing are coordinated per plan.
