The assembly details concrete slab edges bearing on wide-flange steel beams, orientated both parallel and perpendicular to the metal deck span. Sixteen-gauge or ten-gauge edge forms retain the slab edge, reinforced with continuous number four bars and hooked number four bars spaced at twelve inches on center. Embed plates and reinforcement are placed per structural plans with specified clearances and maximum overhang dimensions.
