A continuous angle is set at the perimeter of the concrete floor deck on metal decking, positioned five inches out and secured with a quarter-inch shop or field weld at three inches on twelve inches spacing. The supporting steel beam and framing details are sized per plan. The metal deck edge is finished with the continuous angle closure welded directly to the top flange.
