A cast-in-place leveler pit is formed within concrete tilt-up or pre-cast wall panels with a floor sloping down one-half inch toward the front. Steel angles are placed at interior corners, leaving a one-quarter inch gap between angles that is left unwelded and with side angles stopping short of the back angles. A dock leveler is stitch welded to the rear pit steel angle. Sawn control joints are incorporated into the concrete slab. Actual pit dimensions must be verified prior to forming.
