An access floor tile bears on a continuous 3x3x1/4-inch structural steel angle running along all sides, set with a quarter-inch clearance and a quarter-inch filler plate. The angle is anchored to the concrete substrate using one-half-inch diameter headed anchor studs spaced at 18 inches on center, positioned with a five-inch minimum dimension. A one-eighth-inch fillet weld secures the assembly.
