Equipment weighing up to 250 pounds is mounted to a cold-formed steel stud wall using metal tracking backing that spans between the studs. The equipment projects a maximum of 10 inches from the face of the wall and is secured with number 12 self-drilling screws, using a minimum of 4 screws for each unit. The metal stud framing is installed per structural specifications, with backing tracks spaced equally to support the load.
