A six-inch cast-in-place concrete wall bears on a continuous concrete footing measuring three feet wide by fourteen inches deep, reinforced with three continuous number five bottom bars and number four bars at eighteen inches on center. The wall features number five vertical reinforcing at ten inches on center at the centerline of the panel and number four horizontal reinforcing at twelve inches on center. A six-inch concrete slab reinforced with number three bars at eighteen inches on center each way ties into the wall. A ten-inch deep concrete parapet or curb extends above the slab, housing a pipe sleeve for a tube steel guardrail fit tight with the sleeve and welded to a three-by-three by one-quarter-inch plate embedded in the concrete.
