A Corebrace buckling-restrained brace connects to a structural steel column and beam assembly at the roof level. A slotted gusset plate accommodates the brace, supported by stiffener plates on the near side and far side as required by the manufacturer. Additional stiffener plates are provided at the steel column and beam flanges. The steel column and beam sizes are sized per plan.
