Steel floor beams connect to a hollow structural section column using slotted single-plate shear tabs. The shear tab plate slots through the column wall and welds in place as indicated by the schedule. Structural bolts fasten the beam web to the shear tab in a multi-row configuration determined by plan requirements. Top of steel elevations align across the intersecting members.
