A concrete housekeeping pad is placed on top of a structural concrete slab with reinforcement detailed per the typical topping slab detail. The interface requires a minimum four-and-a-half-inch bond or a roughened surface if the pad is poured separately from the structural slab. Anchor bolts and anchor sizes are provided as required by the equipment supplier, with pad height and location coordinated per mechanical, electrical, and architectural drawings.
