A wide flange girt connects at an inside building corner using a girt bracket sized per structural drawings. The connection employs a plate measuring 1/2 inch by 3-1/2 inches by 6 inches long, secured with two 3/4-inch diameter ASTM A325 slip-critical bolts with oversized holes spaced at 3 inches on center. Fillet welds of 3/16-inch size attach the assembly components at the girt connection.
