A sheet metal hood connects to an endpanel, secured with a stud weld to the flange of the hood in three places. A one-inch flange at the back wall interfaces with the endpanel assembly alongside a continuous caulk bead for sealing. The flange attaches to the wall using bolts or screws through one-quarter-inch through holes at three locations.
