An HSS5x5 structural steel column is welded to a square base plate with a three-eighths-inch demand critical weld. The plate is secured with four one-inch diameter anchor bolts and features a thickness sized per schedule adjacent to a concrete masonry unit wall. A concrete curb occurs at the perimeter as indicated.
