The concrete slab on metal deck bears on a structural steel beam sized per plan, with the slab edge detailed per sheet S-506 at an elevation per plan. Two number four reinforcing bars are placed at the opening typically. The cold-formed steel stud framing follows the architectural drawings and sits at a specified offset from the grid line.
