Roof metal deck bears across hollow structural section steel beams with a depth of one and five-sixteenths inches. The metal deck is secured to the steel framing using Teks self-tapping screws installed according to the specified roof metal deck notes. A drawing note directs the user to detail 4 for the required screw fastening pattern.
