A concrete housekeeping pad is placed over a concrete on metal deck floor slab, with sizing and location coordinated per mechanical, electrical, and architectural plans. The surface of the structural slab is bonded or roughened if the pad is poured separately. Reinforcing consists of number four bars at ten inches on center each way, with a minimum of two number four bars each way. Anchor bolts are installed with size and embedment length per plan. The pad features typical four-inch vertical offsets and dimensions.
