A seven-inch high concrete curb is cast atop an existing concrete slab with a roughened and cleaned interface surface. The curb is reinforced with number four bars spaced at twelve inches on center each way. Vertical number four dowel bars are placed in drilled holes spaced at twelve inches on center and secured with Hilti Hit-Re 500-SD adhesive per ESR-2322.
