A mass timber lower column splice and cross-laminated timber panel joint centers on grid. The assembly features a panel-to-panel spline connection secured with thirteen SDCP27614 structural screws spaced in six equal increments. Alignment and load transfer are maintained using three-quarter-inch by four-inch smooth dowels installed in seven-eighth-inch predrilled holes. Dimensions and fastener layouts are specified for typical installation.
