Provide one row of 150U050-54 bridging at the mid-span of ceiling joists or at eight feet zero inches on center maximum. Fasten a Simpson SUBH clip to each joist using one number ten self-tapping metal screw connected to the cold-rolled channel at each clip. At the rim track, attach the end of the cold-rolled channel to the rim track using a 54 mil by four-inch clip with two number ten self-tapping metal screws to the channel and two number ten self-tapping metal screws to the rim.
