A rectangular concrete grade beam measures two feet wide by two feet six inches deep. The longitudinal reinforcement consists of five number ten top bars with adjusted spacing for column anchors, paired with five number ten bottom bars. Transverse shear reinforcement comprises number four ties spaced at eight inches on center. Additionally, number ten face bars are provided on each exterior face of the member.
