A new four-inch concrete slab on metal deck bears on a continuous four-by-four by five-sixteenth-inch angle fastened to an existing concrete wall. The angle is secured with three-quarter-inch diameter adhesive anchors spaced at twenty-four inches on center with six-inch embedment. Number three reinforcing bars spaced at sixteen inches on center in both directions are epoxied four inches into the existing concrete. The new slab is flush with the existing concrete slab and beam construction.
