A Type A chord flange splice connection incorporates outside flange plates. Two bolts per row are provided at each flange with a three-inch typical spacing. The centerline of the splice is flanked by two-inch edge dimensions and fifteen-inch spacing dimensions as specified per the schedule. The number of rows at the flange corresponds to the structural schedule.
