An HSS outrigger connects back to a building wall panel using Embed Plate A, which is a one-half-inch thick plate equipped with six three-quarter-inch diameter by five-inch long welded studs and two number five bars measuring thirty-six inches long. The HSS member frames into the embed plate with a five-sixteenth-inch fillet weld at the top and bottom flanges. Grout and caulking fill the recess to cover the embedded plate. A separate HSS section connects to the far end of the outrigger per plan. Finish is applied per architectural specifications where required.
