A structural steel framing connection joining a beam to a wide flange column flange using a welded shear plate and four bolts. The column size is sized per plan with its centerline aligned with the framing. A typical shear plate connects the web of the beam per plan, typical, to the column flange with four bolts aligned vertically. Symmetrical framing conditions occur on the opposite side of the column centerline as indicated by dashed lines.
