A metal deck and concrete slab span perpendicular across a supporting steel beam with a maximum three-foot overhang. A continuous number four reinforcing bar runs along the edge inside a continuous edge closure provided per the deck supplier. Transverse reinforcement consists of number four bars spaced at six inches on center. Cladding attachment to the edge closure is explicitly prohibited.
