A beam-to-column flange connection accommodates beams framing in at different depths or elevations. The shear tab thickness is equal to the beam web thickness plus one-quarter inch, fastened with a vertical row of bolts sized per plan and a second row of bolts as required. Continuity plates are installed at the top and bottom flanges, utilizing the larger of flange thickness TF1 or TF2. A sloped bottom plate is provided when the elevation difference is less than three inches.
