A beam web connects to a structural column flange using a Grade 50 steel plate with a thickness designated as Tp, welded to the support and bolted to the supported member. High-strength bolts are spaced at three inches on center, maintaining minimum edge distances on the connection plate. Skewed conditions are detailed per project notes, sizing members as indicated on plan.
