Precast concrete wall panels connect at a building corner using a hot-dipped galvanized 8x4x1/2 by 1 foot 2 inch angle. The angle secures to the precast concrete wall panels with two 3/4 inch diameter Hilti KB-TZ expansion anchors on each leg, backed by panel reinforcement sized per plan. Two number 5 reinforcing bars provide continuity through the 5 inch thick panel joint. The connection detail specifies a 6 inch anchor spacing with 2 inch end distances.
