Concrete slab-on-grade construction joints feature diamond dowel load transfer squares spaced at eighteen inches on center. The joint incorporates an early-entry sawcut measuring zero-point-one inches by one and a half inches with a one-eighth-inch radius tooled edge. A PNA three-eighths-inch diamond dowel system is positioned at the center of the slab thickness. The concrete slab and reinforcement are placed over a prepared subgrade constructed per geotechnical recommendations, maintaining typical clear cover dimensions.
