A mechanical chase is framed within a dowel laminated timber wall, utilizing two-by blocking to support the infill panel. Two-by blocking is secured to the dowel laminated timber wall with two 16d nails at 12 inches on center, each side. Sheathing and dowel laminated timber panels are installed per the project plans. The chase is sized per mechanical requirements, and the infill panel is installed per architectural specifications.
